Blackberry and apple pears

4 firm pears, washed
4 teaspoons lemon juice
213 g can blackberries
1 eating apple, cored and chopped
1 teaspoon cinnamon
300 ml unsweetened apple juice
1 tablespoon cornflour, blended with 2 tablespoons cold water
low fat yoghurt of fromage frais for serving
Preheat the oven to Gas 4, 180ºC. Core the pears and slice in half length-wise. Sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning. Drain the blackberries, keep the juice. Mix the blackberries, chopped apple and cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of the apple juice. Fill the centre of each pear half with the mix. Place the filled pears in the baking dish and pour in the remainder of the juices. Bake in oven for 15 minutes. Remove the pears from the dish and keep warm. Mix juices and cornflour and stir until thickened. Pour thickened juice over pears and serve with low fat yoghurt or fromage frais.
