Chicken with apples
Servings:For 4 servings
Ingredients
1 large chicken
4 apples, peeled and sliced
200 ml white wine
1 tablespoon lard
1 clove garlic
Parsley sprigs
100 ml olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
A pinch of cinnamon
Directions
Clean and dry the chicken and place in a dish. Make a mixture with lard, salt, pepper, and cinnamon and brush the chicken both on the outside and inside. Introduce the peeled garlic and parsley. Pour boiling oil over the chicken and put into the oven to high temperature. Add the apples when half cooked and frequently drizzle with its own juices until ready. To finish, drizzle with wine, turn down the temperature and cook for a few more minutes before serving.
