Cheese and cherry cakes
Time required:1 hServings:For 8 servings
Ingredients
250 g flour
100 g butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons water
A pinch of salt
For the stuffing:
300 g Jerte cherries
1 small tub cream cheese
1 glass whipped cream
4 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons Jerte cherry brandy
Directions
Bone the cherries and put in a bowl with Jerte cherry brandy.
For preparing the cakes:
Mix the flour with salt, sugar and the egg, add slowly the water, form a ball, wrap in kitchen plastic and keep for 1/2 an hour in the fridge. Spread the dough, line the previously greased moulds, pierce the bottoms, cover with paper circles and some beans. Cook for 10 minutes at 180ºC. Remove the paper and cook for 5 minutes again. Fill with the cream and the cherries, drained.
