Clean and dry the
apples. Prepare the filling mixing the minced meat with the egg, the bread crumbs, some salt, pepper and cinnamon. Core and empty the
apples and put the flesh away. Put a teaspoon sugar inside. Fill with the meat. Peel and mince the
onion. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the
onion at minimum heat. Add the
apple flesh, the lemon rind, a tablespoon sugar and two tablespoons water. Sauté at minimum heat for 15 minutes. Put in an oven-proof dish. Add the water and the wine, put the
apples, sprinkle with a tablespoon sugar and the minced biscuits. Cover with aluminium foil and put in the oven, preheated to 180ºC for about an hour (depending on the
apples). Remove carefully the
apples and serve with the sauce (strained).
