Mulled plums with blueberries
Servings:For 4 servings
25 g unsalted butter
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
25 g brown sugar
450 g plums, stoned and quartered
juice and pared rind of 1 orange
225 g blueberries
Vanilla ice cream
Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the cinnamon and the brown sugar. Add the plums and the orange juice and rind. Heat gently for 5 minutes. Stir in the blueberries. Leave it to cook for a further 5 minutes or until the fruits start to soften. Cool until warm and serve with scoops of vanilla ice cream.
