Chinese cabbages are usually wraped in plastic film, although sometimes plastic bags or expanded polystyrene trays are also used. They are transported in trays, usually made of cardboard and containing between 7 and 12 cabbages. The package must clearly indicate the cabbage characteristics (class, weight, etc.)

Chinese cabbages are in general packaged in 60x40cm cardboard trays, containing between 7 and 12 pieces, with an approximate weight of 8-9kg. Packages of 14kg are also used.

As the quality standards indicate, the package must have a uniform content, with cabbages of the same origin, class and size. The materials must be new, clean and must not damage the product. They must have a label indicating the packer’s name, class and number of units or weight.
